According to the investigation of resource status and exploitation condition of Qinghai Salt Lake, exist- ing problem was concluded and the index system of estimating sustainable development of Qinghai Salt Lake re- source was found out well. The level of exploitation of Qinghai Salt Lake resource was tentatively defined as that it is still in the preliminary stage of sustainable development.
