With a case study of the watershed of Shiwan brook in Kaixian county, the vertical diversity of natural resources in mountain small watershed was discussed. Furthermore, this watershed was comprehensively regionalized based on the vertical diversity of natural resources. At the same time, the corresponding management model was put forward.
