On the basis of analysing soil and water loss features and soil and water conservation practices arrangement of Nihegou watershed, sediment reduction benefit was calculated making use of soil and water conservation method-rainfall rectification and experience formula of region related to precipitation- flood capacity-sediment discharge. Results prove that sediment reduction benefit is move 90%. Finally we discussed also four problems on soil and water conservation.
